Protein Cottage Cheese Dip (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1/4 cup chopped green chilies
02 - 1/2 cup milk (add more if needed for thinning)
03 - 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
04 - 1 cup regular or low-fat cottage cheese

→ Seasonings

05 - Salt and pepper, add as needed
06 - 1/2 teaspoon cumin (optional)
07 - 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
08 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

# Instructions:

01 - Pop the cottage cheese into a blender or processor and blitz it until it’s creamy with no lumps.
02 - In a saucepan, combine the smooth cottage cheese, cheddar, and milk over medium heat. Stir constantly until it’s silky and combined.
03 - Stir in chilies, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and some pepper. Make sure everything is mixed well.
04 - Pour in some extra milk if it seems thick. Serve warm alongside fresh veggies or chips.

# Notes:

01 - Grating fresh cheese helps it melt more smoothly.
02 - Give it more heat by adding diced jalapeños.
03 - Store for up to three days in the fridge.
