Spicy Sweet Pasta Dish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken and Marinade

01 - 2 large chicken breasts, skinless and boneless
02 - 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
03 - 1 teaspoon of freshly cracked black pepper
04 - 2 tablespoons of honey
05 - 1 tablespoon soy sauce

→ Pasta and Creamy Sauce

06 - Two minced garlic cloves
07 - 12 ounces of short pasta (fusilli or penne work well)
08 - Half a cup of rich heavy cream
09 - 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese, shredded

→ Cooking Oils and Seasoning

10 - Three tablespoons of olive oil (you'll divide this)
11 - A pinch or two of salt and pepper (adjust to your liking)
12 - A bit of fresh parsley, just a handful for a pop of color (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - In a small mixing bowl, blend together honey, soy sauce, vinegar, black pepper, and a pinch of salt. Keep it to the side for later.
02 - Heat some olive oil in a frying pan and cook the seasoned chicken until the sides are golden. Add the honey mixture to the pan, coating the chicken while cooking for about 2-3 minutes. Let it cool slightly and then slice it into strips.
03 - Cook your pasta in a pot of boiling, salted water, following the instructions on the package. Drain the pasta and keep it to the side.
04 - Sauté garlic in some olive oil. Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer. Toss in the Parmesan cheese and stir until everything blends into a smooth sauce. Season with a little salt and pepper.
05 - Mix the creamy sauce into the pasta, then pile the chicken strips on top. Finish it with parsley for garnish if you'd like.

# Notes:

01 - Use as much black pepper as you'd like—it’s flexible
02 - Either penne or fusilli pasta will taste great with this dish
