Garlic Butter Swirls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 4-5 cups all-purpose flour
02 - ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
03 - 2 tablespoons of sugar
04 - 2 large eggs
05 - 1 packet (2 ¼ teaspoons) active dry yeast
06 - 1 teaspoon of salt
07 - 2 cups of milk, warmed to about 110°F

→ Filling

08 - ¼ cup freshly chopped parsley
09 - Salt and pepper, adjusted to your liking
10 - 4 cloves of garlic, finely minced
11 - ½ cup room temperature unsalted butter

# Instructions:

01 - Stir the warm milk and sugar in a big mixing bowl, then sprinkle yeast over it. Let it sit for 10 minutes until foamy, then add in butter, eggs, and salt. Slowly incorporate the flour until you get a fluffy dough.
02 - Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until it’s smooth. Move the dough into a greased bowl, cover it up, and leave it to double in size for around 1 to 1.5 hours.
03 - In a small bowl, mash together the softened butter with garlic, parsley, salt, and a dash of pepper until it’s all blended nicely.
04 - Flatten the dough into a 12×18 inch sheet. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over it, roll it up tightly from the longer side, and cut it into 12 slices.
05 - Lay the rolls in a buttered baking pan, let them rise again for about 30 to 45 minutes until they puff up. Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes, or until they turn golden brown.

# Notes:

01 - Mix in some shredded cheese with the filling if you want added flavor.
02 - Tastes best warm and stays fresh on the counter for up to 2 days.
