Frankenstein Marshmallow Choco Bites (Printable Recipe Version)

Yummy marshmallow bites with chocolate and fun candy eyes—these little monsters steal the show at any Halloween party.

# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Decoration

01 - 170 g chopped almond chocolate coating (Almond Bark)
02 - 9 pairs candy eyes
03 - black cookie decorating gel

→ Main things

04 - 125 g Rice Krispies cereal
05 - 0.25 tsp salt
06 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
07 - 1 tsp green food color
08 - 4 tbsp unsalted butter
09 - 340 g mini marshmallows, with 18 set aside

# Steps to Make It:

01 - Stick a mini marshmallow on each side of the head using some decorating gel for those classic bolts. Do the same on the other side.
02 - Put a bit of decorating gel on the back of each candy eye. Press them right into the middle of each square. Draw a mouth and stitches with the decorating gel.
03 - Dip the top third of each square into the melted chocolate so it looks like Frankenstein hair. Let any extra chocolate drip off and place them on parchment till the chocolate firms up.
04 - Throw the chopped chocolate coating into a little microwave-safe bowl. Warm it for a minute, give it a mix, then heat for another 30 seconds if it needs more. You want it totally melted and smooth.
05 - Once they've cooled, slice them into 9 even squares. Get some parchment ready.
06 - Press the mix into the lined pan and flatten it out. Let it cool for 1 to 3 hours till it's nice and set.
07 - Pour in the Rice Krispies and gently stir them in so every piece is coated in marshmallow goodness.
08 - Mix in the vanilla, salt, and green food coloring next. Keep stirring so the color spreads everywhere.
09 - Slice the butter into 4 pieces. Pop butter and 340 g mini marshmallows in a bowl for the microwave. Heat for a minute and a half, then stir till it's smooth.
10 - Grease a 23 x 23 cm pan with baking spray and set it aside.

# Extra Information:

01 - Let the candy finish hardening before you start decorating. That way you won't get it smeared.
