Sweet, Crunchy Delight (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Churro Dough

01 - 1 cup of regular flour
02 - ½ teaspoon of salt
03 - 2 tablespoons of cooking oil
04 - 2 ½ tablespoons of white sugar
05 - 1 cup of water

→ For Frying

06 - 8 cups of vegetable oil

→ Coating

07 - ½ a cup of sugar
08 - 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder

# Instructions:

01 - Put the water, oil, sugar, and salt into a medium pot. Heat it on medium-high until it starts bubbling.
02 - Take the pot off the heat and quickly stir in the flour. Keep mixing until smooth and let it sit for 10 minutes to cool off.
03 - Pour 8 cups of frying oil into a deep pan and heat it to 375°F (190°C).
04 - Scoop the dough into a piping bag with a star-shaped nozzle.
05 - Pipe long strips of dough into the hot oil. Cook each side for about 2 minutes until crispy and golden. Lay them on paper towels to soak up the oil.
06 - Stir cinnamon and sugar in a flat bowl. Roll your fried churros around until they’re fully covered.

# Notes:

01 - Let the dough cool down so it doesn’t ruin your piping bag.
02 - A thermometer is great to keep the oil at 375°F (190°C).
03 - Churros are tastiest when warm. Try them with chocolate sauce!
