Classic Meatloaf Glaze (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup crumbs from bread.
02 - 2 whole eggs.
03 - 2 pounds of lean beef, ground.
04 - Chop up 1 onion.
05 - Use 1/2 cup milk.
06 - Add a teaspoon of salt.
07 - Use 1 teaspoon black pepper.
08 - 1 tablespoon mustard, Dijon-style.
09 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire.
10 - A tablespoon of tomato paste.
11 - 2 teaspoons garlic, minced.
12 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder.
13 - Grab 1/2 cup ketchup.
14 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar.
15 - 1 tablespoon more Worcestershire.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F to get it nice and warm.
02 - Combine all the stuff for the loaf in a big bowl.
03 - Form it into a loaf in a pan that's greased up.
04 - Stir the sauce on the stove until it warms up, about 2–3 minutes.
05 - Spoon half of the sauce over that loaf.
06 - Stick it in the oven for about 30 minutes.
07 - Pour on the rest of that sauce.
08 - Cook another 45 minutes until the inside’s 160°F.
09 - Leave it for a bit before cutting it up.

01 - Hands work best when mixing.
02 - Stop mixing once it’s just combined.
03 - Pre-cook onions if you prefer.
