Caprese Skewers Tomato Mozzarella Basil (Printable Recipe Version)

Caprese skewers mix tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil with balsamic for a speedy treat.

# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Cheese

01 - 20 mini mozzarella balls or diced fresh mozzarella, patted dry

→ Vegetables and Herbs

02 - 20 cherry tomatoes, washed and dried
03 - 20 fresh basil leaves, rinsed and patted dry

→ Toppings and Finishing Touches

04 - 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil for drizzling
05 - 1 tbsp balsamic glaze for drizzling
06 - Freshly cracked black pepper for sprinkling
07 - Sea salt or coarse kosher salt for sprinkling

# Steps to Make It:

01 - Right before you set them out, drizzle your skewers with some balsamic glaze and a bit of olive oil. Sprinkle over some coarse salt and a few twists of fresh black pepper. Enjoy right away.
02 - Lay your finished skewers side-by-side on your serving plate. If you're prepping ahead, cover them up and keep them in the fridge for up to eight hours.
03 - On each little wooden skewer, slide on a mozzarella ball, a basil leaf, and a cherry tomato, switching up the order as you like. Make sure each skewer ends up with two tomatoes, two basil leaves, and two mozzarella bits. Fold any bigger basil leaves if they're too large.

# Extra Information:

01 - These skewers taste best when fresh, but you can put them together ahead of time and just add the toppings right before serving.
