Garlic Swirl Rolls (Printable Recipe Version)

Light rolls layered with garlic butter and herbs. A crowd-pleasing side dish for every occasion.

# Ingredients You’ll Need:

01 - 5 cups of all-purpose flour.
02 - 2 large eggs.
03 - 2 tablespoons of white sugar.
04 - 2 1/4 teaspoons of dry yeast, active.
05 - A teaspoon of salt.
06 - 2 cups of milk, heated to about 110°F.
07 - 1/2 cup of melted unsalted butter for the dough.
08 - 1/2 cup of soft unsalted butter for the filling.
09 - 4 garlic cloves, minced finely.
10 - Fresh parsley, chopped (1/4 cup).
11 - Salt and pepper, as you like.

# Steps to Make It:

01 - Combine the warm milk and sugar in a bowl, then sprinkle yeast on top. Wait about 10 minutes for it to foam up. Stir in the melted butter, eggs, and salt. Slowly mix in the flour until you get a soft dough.
02 - Knead the dough on a floured counter for about 7 minutes till smooth. Place it inside a greased bowl, cover it up, and let it sit for 90 minutes, or until it doubles in size.
03 - Combine the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
04 - Roll the dough into a rectangle, about 12x18 inches. Spread the garlic butter over it evenly, roll it up snug from the longer side, and cut into 12 pieces.
05 - Put the rolls in a greased pan, cover them, and let them rest for 45 minutes until they look puffed up.
06 - Pop them in the oven at 350°F for around 25 minutes. They’re done when golden on top. Let them cool slightly before you serve.
