Taco Quesadillas with Cheese (Printable Recipe Version)

Crispy flour tortillas with taco beef, melted cheese, and a touch of fresh cilantro. Quick, flavorful meal.

# Ingredients You’ll Need:

01 - 4 flour tortillas
02 - 2 teaspoons butter
03 - 1½ cups shredded cheese (cheddar, pepper jack, or Mexican cheese blend)
04 - 1 cup cooked taco meat
05 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro

# Steps to Make It:

01 - Preheat a large non-stick skillet to medium-high heat. Lightly butter one side of a tortilla with about ½ teaspoon of butter, then place it in the hot pan.
02 - Sprinkle 3 tablespoons of shredded cheese, ¼ cup of taco meat, and another 2-3 tablespoons of cheese on one half of the tortilla. Add a sprinkle of chopped cilantro. Fold the tortilla over itself.
03 - Cook the folded tortilla for 2-3 minutes, until the cheese begins to melt and the bottom browns slightly. Flip the quesadilla and cook the other side until the cheese is fully melted and the tortilla is crisp around the edges.
04 - Transfer the quesadilla to a cutting board using a spatula. Cut it into wedges while still hot and serve immediately. Repeat for additional quesadillas as desired.
