Spaghetti Meat Sauce (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Meat Base

01 - 1 sweet onion, chopped finely
02 - 1 pound of ground beef (lean)
03 - 1/2 teaspoon of salt
04 - 4 garlic cloves, minced

→ Sauce

05 - 14.5 ounces of herb-seasoned diced tomatoes
06 - 8 ounces of tomato sauce
07 - 1 tablespoon of sugar
08 - 15 ounces crushed tomatoes
09 - 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
10 - 1/2 teaspoon oregano (dried)
11 - 2 teaspoons of basil (dried)
12 - 1/2 teaspoon salt

# Instructions:

01 - Sauté the onion, garlic, and beef with some salt. Cook until nothing pink remains, then get rid of the grease.
02 - Mix in the diced tomatoes, seasonings, tomato sauce, and crushed tomatoes. Keep stirring until it's all together.
03 - Bring it all to a rolling boil, then lower the heat. Let it gently simmer anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes, or even longer.
04 - Pour it over warm noodles. Sprinkle parsley or parmesan on top for an extra kick.
