Rich Southern Banana Bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dry Ingredients

01 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
02 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
03 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
04 - 2 cups all-purpose flour

→ Wet Ingredients

05 - 1/4 cup whole milk
06 - 4 ripe bananas, mashed
07 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
08 - 2 large eggs
09 - 1 cup granulated sugar
10 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

→ Mix-ins

11 - Toss in 1/2 cup of chopped pecans or walnuts if you feel like it

# Instructions:

01 - Pour your batter into the pan and slide it into the oven. Let it go for 55 to 60 minutes. Once a toothpick comes out clean, take it out. Rest it in the pan about 10 minutes. Then let it finish cooling on a rack.
02 - Little by little, add the dry mix to your wet mixture and stir only until it just comes together. If you're using nuts, gently mix them in now.
03 - In another bowl, mix the butter with sugar until it looks fluffy. Crack in eggs one after the other, mixing after each. Dump in the vanilla, mashed bananas, and milk. Keep it smooth.
04 - Fire up your oven to 350°F. Spread some grease and a dusting of flour on your 9x5 pan. In a big bowl, stir together all your dry stuff.

# Notes:

01 - Swap stuff to go plant-based if you want
02 - Toss in some chocolate chips for a twist
03 - Try out extra spices you like
