One-Pan Protein Meal (Printable Recipe Version)

Tender broccoli, flavorful sausage, and shrimp all come together in a buttery garlic sauce. An easy, protein-rich dinner served in under 30 minutes.

# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 cups of broccoli cut into florets
02 - 8 ounces (225 grams) of sausage sliced into rounds
03 - 1 pound (450 grams) peeled and deveined shrimp

→ Sauce & Seasonings

04 - 2 tablespoons of olive oil
05 - 4 garlic cloves, finely minced
06 - Salt and pepper as needed
07 - 3 tablespoons of butter, unsalted

→ Garnish

08 - Chopped fresh parsley (optional)
09 - Lemon wedges for squeezing on top (optional)

# Steps to Make It:

01 - Chop the broccoli into small pieces and slice the sausage thinly. Peel and clean the shrimp, leaving the tails on if you'd like.
02 - In the same pan, use another tablespoon of olive oil to cook the broccoli until tender but with a bit of crunch, about 5 minutes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, and remove it from the heat when done.
03 - Heat up 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a big skillet over medium heat. Let the sausage slices cook until they're crisp and browned, about 5-7 minutes, then take them out.
04 - Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the shrimp, then cook them in the skillet for 2-3 minutes per side. They should turn pink and firm before you take them off the heat.
05 - Melt the butter in a small pot over medium heat. Stir in the garlic and let it cook for about 1-2 minutes, releasing its aroma and turning lightly golden.
06 - Toss the shrimp, sausage, and broccoli back into the skillet, pour the garlic butter over everything, and toss so it all gets coated evenly.
07 - Serve right away with some parsley sprinkled on top and a squeeze of fresh lemon if you'd like.

# Extra Information:

01 - This goes great on top of pasta, rice, or even cauliflower rice for a lighter option.
02 - Feel free to try andouille sausage for a kick or kielbasa for a rich, smoky taste.
03 - Adding a splash of white wine to the garlic butter will give it even more depth.
