Pepper Steak Veggie Mix (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 big onion.
02 - 1 green bell pepper.
03 - 1 red bell pepper.
04 - 1 yellow bell pepper.
05 - 1 pound flank steak cut into strips.
06 - 3 garlic cloves.
07 - 1 teaspoon sugar.
08 - 2 spoons vegetable oil.
09 - ¼ cup soy sauce for the topping.
10 - ¼ cup beef broth.
11 - 2 spoons oyster sauce.
12 - 1 spoon cornstarch and water mixture.
13 - Salt and pepper to taste.
14 - 2 spoons soy sauce for seasoning.
15 - 1 spoon cornstarch for seasoning.

# Instructions:

01 - Toss steak with cornstarch and soy sauce. Let rest 15 minutes.
02 - Sear steak pieces in hot oil for a minute or two on each side. Work in batches.
03 - Stir-fry onion and peppers about 3-4 minutes. Add garlic and cook briefly.
04 - Put beef back in. Pour in soy, oyster sauce, sugar, broth, and cornstarch mix. Let it thicken.
05 - Season with salt/pepper before serving over rice.

# Notes:

01 - Partially freezing the meat makes it easier to slice thin.
02 - Feel free to mix in other veggies.
03 - Want it spicy? Add chilies!
