Pecan Pie Cake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cake

01 - 1 1/4 cups plain flour
02 - 2 cups pecans, finely chopped
03 - 2 cups brown sugar, packed tight
04 - 4 large eggs
05 - 3/4 cup cooking oil
06 - 1 tablespoon vanilla
07 - About 1 teaspoon of salt (slightly less)
08 - Optional: powdered sugar for topping

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F and grease up a 13x9 pan.
02 - Beat together the eggs, vanilla, and sugar until they’re light and bubbly after a couple of minutes. Add the oil, salt, and then stir in the flour.
03 - Gently fold the pecans into the mixture, then pour everything into the prepared pan.
04 - Bake for about 30-40 minutes until the edges turn golden and the center is fully set.
05 - Let it cool in the pan before slicing it into 24 squares. You can sprinkle powdered sugar on top if you'd like.

# Notes:

01 - You can swap out pecans for almonds or walnuts.
02 - Both dark and light brown sugar work fine.
03 - This batter fits well in a bundt pan too.
