→ For Cooking

09 - 2 tablespoons olive oil

# Steps to Make It:

01 - Gather all ingredients, ensuring salmon fillets are freshly cooked, bones and skin removed, and all herbs are washed and chopped.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine the flaked salmon, crumbled feta, Panko breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, eggs, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix gently with a spatula until ingredients are evenly incorporated.
03 - Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld and the mixture to firm up for easier shaping.
04 - Remove mixture from the refrigerator and, using damp hands, form into equally sized patties, approximately 2 cm thick.
05 - Heat olive oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Arrange patties in a single layer, leaving space between each. Cook for 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and heated through.
06 - Transfer cooked patties onto a plate lined with paper towel to drain excess oil. Serve warm, garnished with additional chopped parsley or a wedge of lemon if desired.

# Extra Information:

01 - For the best flavour, select fresh, wild-caught salmon fillets with a vibrant colour and pleasant aroma. Carefully remove all bones and skin before flaking. Incorporate chopped fresh herbs such as dill or oregano for added aroma and depth.
02 - Allowing the mixture to rest in the refrigerator improves texture, making it easier to shape sturdy patties that hold together when frying.
