crispy Hashbrowns (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/4 cup melted butter, optional.
02 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.
03 - Shredded cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup.
04 - A handful of chopped chives, about 2 tablespoons.
05 - Potatoes, grated, 4-5 large ones.
06 - Salt and pepper as needed.
07 - Green onions, chopped, 1/4 cup.
08 - 4 bacon slices, crumbled after cooking.
09 - 1/4 cup sour cream.
10 - Mozzarella, shredded, 1/4 cup if you like.
11 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder.

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven to 425°F. Grate your potatoes, then wrap them in a towel and squeeze out the extra liquid.
02 - Combine the grated potatoes with seasonings like garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and oil.
03 - With parchment under it, spread potato mix on a baking sheet. Press it flat and bake for 20-25 minutes. Flip halfway so it crisps evenly.
04 - Sprinkle the cheddar and put back in the oven for 3-5 minutes until gooey.
05 - Top it all with sour cream, bacon, chives, and green onions. Add extra mozzarella or butter if you want.

# Notes:

01 - Get as much water out of the potatoes as you can. It’s key for crispy results.
02 - Save time by swapping grated potatoes with frozen shredded ones.
