Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 13x9-inch baking dish. Pour 1 can of peaches into the dish. Drain the second can of peaches and add to the dish.

Sprinkle the peaches with brown sugar and ground cinnamon. Evenly spread the yellow cake mix over the top, followed by the sliced almonds.

Cut cold butter into very thin slices and arrange them over the cake mix, spacing them evenly.

Bake in preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit mixture is bubbly.
