Italian Focaccia Bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 2 ¼ teaspoons (7g) of instant yeast or active dry yeast
02 - 4 cups (500g) of bread or regular flour
03 - 2 teaspoons (10g) of salt
04 - ¼ cup (60ml) good-quality olive oil
05 - 1 ¾ cups (415ml) of warm water

→ Topping

06 - Sprinkle coarse sea salt
07 - Drizzle with some extra olive oil
08 - A couple of tablespoons of fresh rosemary

# Instructions:

01 - In a big bowl, stir together the yeast, salt, and flour. Pour in the olive oil and warm water, mix until it’s rough, then knead for about 10 minutes until smooth.
02 - Oil a bowl, pop the dough in, and cover the top with plastic wrap. Leave it for 1-2 hours until it’s risen to twice its size.
03 - Grease a baking tray, stretch out the dough to fit, then press all over with your fingers to make little dimples.
04 - Cover it again and let it sit for another 30 minutes.
05 - Set your oven to 425°F. Drizzle olive oil over the dough, scatter on rosemary and sea salt, and bake for 20-25 minutes till it’s golden brown.

# Notes:

01 - For great results, let the dough sit somewhere warm while it rises.
02 - A good-quality olive oil really makes the flavors shine.
