# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 3 tablespoons oil for cooking
02 - 12 ounces chow mein noodles, uncooked
03 - 1 pound chicken breasts, no skin or bones

→ Vegetables

04 - 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
05 - ½ bunch green onions, sliced thin
06 - 1 large carrot, cut into matchsticks
07 - 2 cups cabbage, shredded

→ Sauce

08 - ½ cup chicken stock
09 - 3 tablespoons soy sauce, low sodium
10 - 6 tablespoons oyster sauce
11 - 1 tablespoon white sugar
12 - 3 tablespoons light sesame oil
13 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch

# Steps to Make It:

01 - In a small bowl, stir together chicken broth, oyster sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and cornstarch until it's lump-free.
02 - Follow the package directions to cook chow mein noodles. Rinse them under cold water once drained, then set aside.
03 - Take a large skillet or wok and heat oil over medium heat. Slice your chicken into strips and sauté until it's browned and cooked through, then remove it from the pan.
04 - Put the carrots, garlic, and cabbage into the same pan. Stir them around until the cabbage becomes a bit see-through and the veggies soften.
05 - Throw the noodles and chicken back into the pan. Pour in the sauce and stir it all together for a couple of minutes until everything's coated and heated.
06 - Scatter some sliced green onions over the top and enjoy it hot straight out of the pan.

# Extra Information:

01 - If you’re using pre-cooked noodles, grab 1 pound of them.
02 - Choose light sesame oil over toasted for a milder taste.
