Juicy chicken pieces on a stick smothered in savory parmesan garlic butter cooked till crisp in the airfryer, jazzed up with lemon and parsley.

# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ For the Garlic Butter Parmesan

01 - Fresh parsley, chopped (about 1/4 bunch, optional for serving)
02 - Chili flakes, 1 teaspoon
03 - Salt, 1 teaspoon
04 - Zest and juice from one lemon
05 - Parmesan cheese, grated, 50g
06 - Garlic cloves, finely grated, 5
07 - Salted butter, softened, 450g

→ For the Chicken Skewers

08 - Chicken thighs, boneless skinless, sliced into 5cm strips, 1.35kg
09 - Black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon
10 - Salt, 2 teaspoons

# Steps to Make It:

01 - Grab any leftover garlic butter from your air fryer and pour it over the hot skewers. Toss on extra parsley, a sprinkle of Parmesan, and fresh lemon on the side, if you like.
02 - Lay the skewers in the air fryer. Cook at 175°C for 5 minutes, coat with garlic butter, go another 5 minutes, butter again, then finish with another 5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and looking golden. If you have extra skewers, batch them.
03 - Smother each skewer with that buttery garlic-Parmesan mix on all sides.
04 - Push 6 or 7 chicken pieces fairly tight onto each wooden skewer. Do this till you’re out of chicken. Sprinkle evenly with salt and pepper.
05 - Trim wooden skewers down to a length that fits your air fryer. Kitchen shears or poultry scissors work well.
06 - Melt your butter in a medium bowl. Stir in the grated garlic, Parmesan, lemon zest and juice, salt, and chili flakes. No stress if the butter firms up while you work.

# Extra Information:

01 - For the crispest results, line up the skewers in a single layer in the air fryer. Working in batches helps if you're making lots.
