04 - Black pepper, as much as you like
05 - Salt, to taste
06 - 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
07 - 3 tablespoons brown sugar
08 - 3 tablespoons garlic, minced small

→ Meat

09 - 2 bone-in pork chops, about 1 inch thick each

# Steps to Make It:

01 - Once you pull the chops from the oven, cover them up and leave alone for five minutes. Top with some chopped parsley and dig in.
02 - Pop the skillet in your hot oven and let it bake 8 to 10 minutes. They're ready when your meat thermometer hits 63 °C in the middle.
03 - Slide the browned pork back into your skillet and make sure it gets smothered with that sweet and spicy sauce.
04 - Set your pan on low heat and drop in the butter to melt. Add in garlic, brown sugar, and chili flakes then whisk together. Let it bubble just a little bit for two to three minutes so it's super fragrant.
05 - Heat up some oil in a skillet that can handle the oven, get it medium-high hot. Sear the pork for three minutes per side so they're nice and brown. Take them out and set aside.
06 - Sprinkle each pork chop evenly with salt and black pepper.
07 - Crank your oven up to 200 °C with both top and bottom heat going.

# Extra Information:

01 - Letting the pork rest after cooking locks in the juices and keeps every bite moist.
