Feta Phyllo with Honey (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup butter
02 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
03 - 2 to 3 cups powdered sugar
04 - 1/4 cup milk
05 - 1 cup brown sugar

# Instructions:

01 - On low heat, warm the butter in a saucepan until it melts completely.
02 - Toss in the brown sugar and stir it around until it’s smooth and fully dissolved.
03 - Slowly pour in the milk while continuing to mix everything together.
04 - Turn the heat to medium. Let it boil gently for 2–3 minutes while stirring non-stop.
05 - Take it off the heat and let the mixture cool down just enough to be warm but not too hot.
06 - Mix in 2 cups of powdered sugar, beating until smooth and creamy.
07 - Add extra powdered sugar, little by little, if you want the frosting to be thicker.
08 - Stir in the vanilla extract so it blends well with the frosting.
09 - Spread the frosting right after making it while it’s still soft, as it’ll thicken more as it cools.

# Notes:

01 - Once your frosting is ready, work quickly because it’ll keep getting thicker as it cools.
02 - Great for topping cakes, filling between layers, or icing cookies.
03 - If it gets too firm, warm it slightly or mix in just a little milk to loosen it up.
