Sausage Tortellini Pan (Printable Recipe Version)

Tortellini, spicy sausage, and spinach mix in a smooth sauce for an easy one-pan meal.

# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Main things

01 - Salt and black pepper to taste
02 - 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes
03 - 120 g grated Parmesan cheese
04 - 90 g fresh spinach
05 - 240 ml cream
06 - 450 g frozen cheese tortellini
07 - 240 ml chicken broth
08 - 3 garlic cloves, minced
09 - 1 small onion, diced
10 - 225 g Italian sausage
11 - 1 tablespoon olive oil

# Steps to Make It:

01 - Top it off with chili flakes, black pepper, and salt. Hand it out hot.
02 - Add the browned sausage, a bit of fresh spinach, and toss in the Parmesan. Cook over low heat for just a couple minutes. You want the spinach to wilt and the sauce to get a bit thicker.
03 - Pour in the cream now and give everything a good stir.
04 - Turn the heat up, pour in your chicken broth, then toss in those frozen tortellini. Let it cook according to the tortellini box, stirring now and then. Should take 3 to 4 minutes.
05 - Toss the chopped onion into your pan. Let it cook for a few minutes till it looks kind of see-through. Add the garlic and cook for another half minute.
06 - Grab a big nonstick pan and cook your Italian sausage over medium-high. Break it into little bits while it cooks until it’s all browned. When it's done, scoop it out and set it on a plate.

# Extra Information:

01 - Using fresh spinach and Parmesan really bumps up the flavor and makes it super creamy. The sauce gets even thicker as it cools down. Plus, you only need one pan for this whole thing.
