Cinnamon Walnut Cake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups of sugar.
02 - 3 large eggs.
03 - 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts.
04 - 2 1/3 cups of all-purpose flour.
05 - 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda.
06 - 1 teaspoon kosher salt.
07 - 1 cup of softened unsalted butter.
08 - 1 tablespoon whiskey (optional).
09 - 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon.
10 - 3 tablespoons of light brown sugar.
11 - 1 (8 oz.) container of sour cream.
12 - 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract (pure).

# Instructions:

01 - Stir together cinnamon, nuts, and brown sugar until they’re evenly mixed.
02 - Set the oven to 300°F and coat a 9-inch Bundt pan with nonstick spray.
03 - In a bowl, combine salt, baking soda, and flour using a whisk.
04 - On medium speed, whip butter and sugar in a mixer until it becomes airy and pale.
05 - Add eggs one by one while beating, then mix in sour cream, vanilla, and the whiskey if using.
06 - Slowly incorporate the dry mix into the wet mixture until it all comes together.
07 - Pour 1/3 of the batter into the pan, sprinkle half the walnut mix, then layer with another 1/3 batter, the rest of the nuts, and the final batter layer.
08 - Cook for 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
09 - Let cool for around 15-20 minutes, then take it out of the pan. Dust it with powdered sugar for a topping.

# Notes:

01 - Whiskey is optional and can be skipped.
02 - Pecans can be swapped in for walnuts.
03 - Letting it cool properly helps it release cleanly from the pan.
