Preheat oven to 375°F and put paper liners in each muffin pan cup.

In a mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.

In another bowl, whisk together eggs, melted butter, vanilla, nutmeg, and milk until smooth.

Slowly add the dry mix to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just brought together.

Spoon the batter into the muffin liners about 2/3 full. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and set.

Stir together sugar and cinnamon for the coating. Dip the muffin tops while they’re still warm.

Pop them back in the oven for 2-3 minutes to firm up the sugary topping.
