Cinnamon Muffins (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Muffin Batter

01 - 2 cups of regular all-purpose flour
02 - 1 cup of white sugar
03 - 1 tablespoon of baking powder
04 - 1/2 teaspoon of salt
05 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
06 - 2 large eggs
07 - 1 cup of milk
08 - 1 teaspoon of vanilla
09 - 1 cup of sour cream

→ For the Cinnamon Swirl

10 - 1/4 cup of packed brown sugar
11 - 1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder

→ For the Sweet Glaze

12 - 1 cup of powdered (confectioner's) sugar
13 - 2 tablespoons milk

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line your muffin tray with paper liners.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, white sugar, and baking powder until combined evenly.
03 - Take another bowl and stir the melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla together. Pour this mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients and stir gently until well blended.
04 - Carefully fold the sour cream into your batter until it’s creamy and smooth.
05 - In a tiny bowl, combine the cinnamon and brown sugar for the swirl.
06 - Scoop some batter into each muffin liner, filling them halfway. Sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture, then cover with more batter until they’re about 3/4 full.
07 - Place your muffins in the oven for 18-20 minutes. You’ll know they’re done when a toothpick comes out clean. Let them cool after baking.
08 - While they’re still a little warm, mix the powdered sugar and milk to make your glaze. Drizzle it over the muffins for some extra sweetness.

# Notes:

01 - Make sure not to overmix the batter or you’ll miss out on that fluffy texture.
02 - Your ingredients will mix better if they’re at room temperature!
