# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Bread Base

01 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
02 - 1 cup (240 ml) buttermilk (or 1 cup milk + 1 tbsp vinegar/lemon juice)
03 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
04 - ½ teaspoon salt
05 - 2 large eggs
06 - ½ cup (115 g) unsalted butter, softened
07 - ½ teaspoon baking soda
08 - 2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour
09 - 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar

→ Swirl Mix

10 - 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
11 - ⅓ cup (70 g) granulated sugar

→ Top Layer

12 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
13 - ¼ cup (50 g) granulated sugar
14 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

# Steps to Make It:

01 - Turn on your oven and heat it to 350°F (175°C). Use either a lined sheet of parchment or grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
02 - Stir together the flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder in a medium bowl until everything's evenly distributed.
03 - Mix together the soft butter and sugar in a big bowl until the texture looks fluffy and light. This takes about two or three minutes.
04 - Drop in one egg at a time, mixing well in between. Lastly, blend in the vanilla.
05 - Slowly add the dry stuff to the wet mixture, switching between dry ingredients and buttermilk in parts. Begin and wrap up with the dry mix. Just blend until it comes together; skip over-mixing.
06 - Spread half of your batter in the prepared pan, sprinkle in half the cinnamon sugar mix, then add the rest of the batter on top. Spoon the remaining sugar-cinnamon mix over it, and swirl a knife gently through.
07 - Bake for 50–60 minutes. Insert a toothpick in the middle, and if it comes out clean, you're good to go! Allow it to rest in the pan for 10 minutes before moving it to a rack to cool further.
08 - While warm, coat the top with the melted butter. Mix your sugar and cinnamon together, then sprinkle generously across the top.
09 - Let it sit until fully cooled before slicing. It's perfect on its own or paired with coffee or tea!
