German Chocolate Poke Cake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cake Base

01 - 1 box of German chocolate cake mix (plus what the box lists to add)

→ Filling & Toppings

02 - 1/2 cup of chocolate frosting
03 - 1 cup of caramel sauce
04 - 1/2 cup of chopped pecans
05 - 1/2 cup of shredded coconut
06 - 1/2 cup of chocolate chips
07 - 1 cup of sweetened condensed milk
08 - 1/2 cup of caramel frosting

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Coat a 9x13 inch pan with oil or spray. Follow the box directions to whip up the cake batter.
02 - Let it cool a bit. Then, grab the handle of a wooden spoon and make little holes across the top.
03 - Pour on some caramel sauce and sweetened milk. Don’t be shy—make sure it gets down into those holes.
04 - Toss on some coconut shreds, pecans, and chocolate chips. Heat up the frostings so they’re runny, then drizzle them all over.
05 - Wait about 30 minutes before digging in so the flavors can soak in nicely.

# Notes:

01 - Make sure the holes are deep but don’t go all the way through.
02 - Swap out coconut milk if avoiding dairy.
03 - Tastes even better if left in the fridge for a few hours.
