Mozzarella Texas Toast (Printable Recipe Version)

01 - Italian seasoning, sprinkle as much as you like
02 - 120 grams mozzarella, shredded
03 - 8 thick-cut slices of white bread (about 2.5 cm thick)
04 - Black pepper, however much you want
05 - Salt, add to your liking
06 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1 stick butter, unsalted and soft

# Steps to Make It:

01 - Pop everything back under the broiler. Watch it like a hawk so the cheese melts and bubbles but doesn't burn.
02 - Top the toasted bread with mozzarella and a shake of Italian herbs.
03 - Slide the bread under the broiler for about a minute on each side till it just starts to get golden.
04 - Coat both sides of your bread with garlic butter and lay the slices out on your baking sheet (no oil needed!).
05 - Mix up soft butter, garlic powder, salt, and some pepper in a bowl till smooth.
06 - Crank up your oven to broil and give it some time to heat.
