Cereal Treat Bars (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
02 - 10 tablespoons salted butter
03 - 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon sugar
04 - 20 ounces mini marshmallows, split in half

→ Cereal

05 - 12 ounces (8 cups) of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal

# Instructions:

01 - Use parchment paper or a bit of grease to prep a 9x13 pan.
02 - On low heat, melt the butter. Mix in most of the marshmallows, sea salt, and cinnamon sugar. Stir until silky smooth.
03 - Take the pot off the heat. Add the cereal and the leftover marshmallows, and give it all a good stir until it’s well-coated.
04 - Gently press the mix into your pan. Leave it alone for at least 30 minutes (or up to an hour) before slicing it into portions.

# Notes:

01 - Keep your marshmallows from scorching by keeping the heat low.
02 - Don’t press the mix too hard—it’s better when it’s light.
03 - Cinnamon sugar is easy to make: just blend some cinnamon with sugar.
