Sweet Glazed Carrots (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Fresh parsley, chopped, for topping.
02 - 1/8 teaspoon ground white pepper.
03 - 1/4 teaspoon fine salt.
04 - 1/4 cup packed brown sugar.
05 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter.
06 - 2 pounds of carrots, cut into slices.

# Instructions:

01 - Slice your carrots and put them in a big pot. Cover them with about an inch of water, bring to a boil, then lower the heat. Cover the pot and let them cook 8 to 10 minutes till they’re tender but still a bit firm.
02 - Pour out the water from the pot and set the carrots aside for now.
03 - In the same pot, on medium heat, combine butter, brown sugar, salt, and white pepper. Let the mixture melt and come together.
04 - Toss the carrots back into the pot. Stir them well and let them cook for around 5 minutes until they’re nicely coated in the shiny glaze.
05 - Sprinkle some parsley on top if you want, then dig in.
