Best Rice Krispie Treats (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 16 oz mini marshmallows, split into two portions
02 - 6 cups rice cereal puffs
03 - 6 tbsp salted butter
04 - 1 tsp vanilla extract, good quality

# Instructions:

01 - Place parchment paper in a square pan, 9 inches wide.
02 - Heat butter in a big pan and stir in all except 1 cup of marshmallows until smooth and gooey.
03 - Turn off the heat and pour in vanilla. Toss in the cereal and leftover marshmallows, mixing it all together.
04 - Spread into the pan lightly using wet hands. Wait an hour to firm up before slicing.

# Notes:

01 - Fresh marshmallows make a big difference.
02 - Don't press too hard to keep the bars chewy.
03 - Use gluten-free cereal if needed.
