# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Veggies and Beef

01 - 1 pound of flank or sirloin steak, cut super thin
02 - 2 tbsp of cornstarch
03 - 2 tbsp cooking oil
04 - 1 zucchini, cut into thin slices
05 - 1 red bell pepper, chopped into strips
06 - 1 carrot, cut into matchsticks
07 - 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into slices
08 - 1 small broccoli head, cut into bite-sized pieces
09 - 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
10 - 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
11 - 3 green onions, diced
12 - 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional topping)

→ Sauce Ingredients

13 - 1/4 cup soy sauce, low-sodium if possible
14 - 1 tbsp sweet honey
15 - 2 tbsp oyster sauce
16 - 1/4 cup beef stock
17 - 1 tsp sesame oil for a toasty kick
18 - 1/2 tsp chili flakes (for a spicy punch, optional)
19 - 1 tsp cornstarch to thicken

# Steps to Make It:

01 - Thinly slice the beef and coat it in cornstarch. This'll make it tender and crisp when cooked. Let it rest for about 10 minutes while you chop up the veggies.
02 - In a small bowl, stir together soy sauce, honey, beef stock, oyster sauce, sesame oil, chili flakes (if you want heat), and cornstarch. Keep this sauce to the side for later.
03 - Heat a tablespoon of oil in a wok or skillet over medium heat until hot. Lay the beef in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Take it out and set it on a plate when done.
04 - Add another tablespoon of oil into the same pan. Stir in the ginger and garlic briefly, just enough to bring out their smell. Then toss in the bell peppers, zucchini, broccoli, and carrot. Stir-fry everything for about 3 minutes to keep their crunch.
05 - Put the beef back in the pan, pouring the sauce over it all. Give a few stirs to coat everything well, letting it cook for another minute or two so the sauce thickens just right.
06 - Pull the pan off the heat and sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds on top, if using. Enjoy it freshly served over warm rice or noodles.

# Extra Information:

01 - To make the sauce thicker, mix a teaspoon of cornstarch with water and add it in.
02 - Go for a low-sodium twist by using reduced-salt soy sauce and skipping oyster sauce.
03 - It tastes just as good the next day! Reheat it in a skillet with a splash of water so it stays juicy.
