Preheat your oven to 350°F. Coat a 9x5 pan lightly with grease.

In a mixing bowl, stir together salt, baking soda, and flour.

With a mixer, whip butter and sugar until creamy (2 minutes). Add eggs one by one, then mix in vanilla.

Gradually add some of the buttermilk, then some dry mix, alternating until it’s all combined. Start and wrap up with dry mix.

In a tiny bowl, stir the cinnamon with light brown sugar.

Spoon half the batter into the greased pan, sprinkle on some cinnamon blend, then repeat with the rest of the batter and topping. Drag a knife through it to swirl.

Place in oven for 50-60 minutes, until done. Let it sit in the pan for 10 minutes, then cool fully on a rack.
